Anyone that has had the pleasure of working directly with Sean can attest to how beautifully multi-faceted, multi-talented, smart, patient, kind, and generous he truly is.

I'm so proud of him, and I'm thankful every day to have him in my life.

Dear Friends,

I can't believe it's April 27th already! And in the blink of an eye, another action packed month has come and (almost) gone. The new website seems to be doing it's job because it's been back-to-back meetings and consultations for us over the last few weeks, and 2010 is quickly booking up.

We've also decided to advertise in the shiney new magazine: Weddings in Winnipeg.CA. Check out the cover of the very first issue:




The magazine is chock full of great articles aimed towards helping Manitoba brides plan their big day. Be sure to check it out - get your free copies at many of the wedding stores across the city including: The Bay, Sears, Tip Top Tailors, Cake Clothing, Stella's Bridal, LA Collection, CKLY, WK Chan, Vandenbergs, Independent Jewellers...just to name a few. And of course, we have copies at the studio, if you'd like to stop by and see us!

Spring Break

It's been a week since my last blog entry, so I thought I should post something quick.

The past week has been really productive. Lately I've been pretty busy designing digital wedding albums and photo books, as well as fulfilling print and other orders.

I am so thankful for the time that I have from late fall to mid-spring, when I’m not too too busy with weddings and shoots, and I can make the time to spend over coffee, or breakfast with friends. It’s a great time to catch up with other vendors, and professional photographers to chat about the upcoming season, talk shop, exchange ideas.

There are a lot of websites, and blogsites out there that allow the community at large to keep up with whatever everyone is doing, but nothing beats the kind of face-to-face meeting where ideas bounce, and where comradeship is exchanged.

You can usually find me at Stella’s on Sherbrook every Thursday morning. This week, I stopped by on Tuesday morning at 9 a.m. and stayed until 2 p.m. catching up with one of my peers. I know - 5 hours is a bit much. But I really don't take that many breaks when I'm heavy into the work. Anyway, we gossiped, and laughed a lot. Now that I'm all caught up with "the what's what" and "the who's who in the zoo"...It's back to post-production :|

Next week is spring break so I get Sean and the kids all to myself, which is so rare. I'm looking forward to it. We've given up on our plans to go to Minneapolis because of the unfortunate flooding in Fargo and Grand Forks. So we're going to spend our time hanging out here at home. If next week, I don't reply to email or phone messages right away, it's probably because I'm out-and-about, at the movies, shopping, or visiting with my family. I will however be checking in regularly and will attempt to respond to messages as soon as possible. Thanks in advance for your understanding.

Dear Friends,

I just wanted to send a heartfelt thank you to my friends and past clients for all of the email messages and phone calls expressing excitement and encouragement over our new website! It means the world to me.

A big shout out to my very awesome friend in Germany, Jon Jon Ferrer, for always being the first to come back with such kind and encouraging words. You've always helped inspire me to make changes for the better! Thank you also to Father Geoffrey Angeles for his input on the music and of course for his friendship these recent months. He was the first person (other than Sean, Darren, and myself) to see the new site, and a kind word from him always feels like it comes straight from "The Big Guy" above (LOL).

We've got a tonne of surprises in store, so please stay in touch!
